pasUnity RTM is now generally available.

This release of pasUnity brings some product enhancements and documentation updates.

Changes to prerequisites

For compatibility with .NET Standard 2.0 and modern architectures the minimum installation prerequisites now include the .NET Framework version 4.7.2 or higher.  This ensures that the required support to automate components built on .NET Core and .NET Standard 2.0 are present on your machine without the use of shim assemblies.  It also significantly opens up your ability to use a wider range of 3rd party components and C# 8.0 language features in Managed Code including the latest version of the Roslyn compilers.

Product enhancements

Optimistic concurrency has been added to all elements of the designer user interface.  This means that if multiple users attempt to edit the same designer items a warning will be presented to any user who is about to overwrite changes made by another user allowing them to revert their own changes or overwrite the other user.

pasTransfer job steps can now accept parameters that have blank values.  Useful when you want to override a default value in a macro command stored in the pasTransfer configuration.

Managed Code job steps have enhanced diagnostics to help troubleshoot compile errors by presenting multiple exceptions and line numbers in the UI.

Command Line and Batch Process job steps now allow for macros in the source file and folder.

Matrix editor enhancements to allow for cloning of columns and rows and all contained dropboxes.
