Networking Requirements

If the WCF service host will be used with the pasUnity Payload Service ports will need to be allocated for the services to listen on.  The default is that TCP port 9080 is used for HTTP web service binding and TCP port 9443 will be used for HTTPS web service bindings.  Alternate ports can be specified post-installation.

If you wish to use the pasUnity File Transfer service, you will need to have a port free.  The well-known port for FTP is 21 but it can be changed to avoid conflicts with other FTP services.

Internet connectivity to licensing.pasportal.com via secure HTTPS connection on TCP port 443 using the TLS cryptographic protocol and X.509 certificates is required for license code activation.

Internet connectivity to www.pasportal.com via secure HTTPS connection on TCP port 443 using the TLS cryptographic protocol and X.509 certificates is required for pasPortal integration.

Internet connectivity to sso.pasportal.com via secure HTTPS connection on TCP port 443 using the TLS cryptographic protocol and X.509 certificates is required for authentication features.

pasPortal Integration Requirements

You must have a valid support agreement to use pasPortal services with pasUnity.

The port that pasPortal uses to communicate with the local pasUnity may be user defined.
