StyleSheet Manager

The StyleSheet Manager module is used to configure the available stylesheets available for styling tabs for display in the browser.

This module functions outside the realm of the normal permissions hierarchy.  It can be viewed only by a user with membership in Site Administrators site-level roles with no regard to permissions assigned to the tab on which the module is placed.  For more information on the roles referenced in this section please see the role based security topic.  Administrative users can configure additional module settings by clicking the  button.

StyleSheet Authoring

Stylesheets are typically developed by the development staff but in some cases it may be desirable to clone an existing stylesheet provided by the system for the purpose of adjusting the color scheme or other minor cosmetic changes.  It is not recommended to create additional stylesheets as they are not maintained by the development staff.

Adding New StyleSheets

To add a new module skin members of the Site Administrators role click the  button which will open the stylesheet editor and allow an administrative user to define the details of the new stylesheet.

Editing Existing StyleSheets

To edit an existing stylesheet members of the Site Administrators role click the  button which will open the stylesheet editor and allow an administrative user to define the details of a new stylesheet.

StyleSheet Attributes

When editing style sheets the following attributes are exposed through the editor:

Style Sheet Name: This is name of the stylesheet.  It may not be blank and must be unique within the system.

Style Sheet URL: This is the application-relative URL of the stylesheet in the file system.

Is Default:  Determines whether this is the default stylesheet for the system used when not explicitly specified at the tab or dashboard levels.
