The HTML module is used to create and display Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) code that can be shared with other users.

 


This module functions within the standard role-based security inheritance chain described in the tab designer topic.  Administrative users can configure additional module settings by clicking the  button.


 

Viewing HTML

 

All users with Read permissions on the tab have the ability to view events.  All current and upcoming events will be listed in the module. Clicking on the  symbol next to any event will show additional information regarding the event.

 

Managing HTML

 

Users with Edit permissions on the tab can click the  button to open the HTML editor.  Be sure to click the  button to save your changes when adding or editing content.  Users with Delete permissions on the tab can click the  button to remove the event from the system.

 

The following attributes are available in the editor:

 

HTML:  This is where you write the HTML content.  There is a WYSIWIG editor that can assist you in writing your HTML.

 

NOTE: While you can write any HTML content you wish in this module note that it is possible to write bad HTML code that will make the page fail to render correctly in the browser.  Additionally, any code you write in this module can use CSS and JavaScript but they will not have access to any server side resources and your content will be screened for malicious intent and if such code is found your account will be suspended and depending on circumstances additional actions may be taken.
