The Events module is used to create and display event information that can be shared with other users.

This module functions within the standard role-based security inheritance chain described in the tab designer topic. Administrative users can configure additional module settings by clicking the button.

Viewing Events

All users with Read permissions on the tab have the ability to view events. All current and upcoming events will be listed in the module. Clicking on the symbol next to any event will show additional information regarding the event.

Managing Events

Users with Add permissions on the tab can click the button to open the new event editor. Users with Edit permissions on the tab can click the button to edit an existing event. Be sure to click the button to save your changes when adding or editing content. Users with Delete permissions on the tab can click the button to remove the event from the system.

The following attributes are available in the editor:

•Event Name (Required): Name of the event.

•When and Where (Required): Time and location of the event.

•Description (Required): Purpose of the event.

•Expandable Text: This field can be used to provide additional information for the event.
